What is Relationship Counseling?

Relationships are hard. Relationship counseling, also known as marriage counseling or couple’s therapy, allows you and your partner to work through your disagreements with the guidance of a neutral mediator. Relationship counseling is NOT about being right or placing blame, but rather finding ways to compromise and problem solve as a team. Often it is necessary to address personal issues from one or both partners’ pasts in order to manage current issues in the relationship. Relationship counseling creates a platform to resolve past issues while gaining a deeper understanding and respect for your partner.

What is Family Counseling?

Family Counseling is different from traditional therapies in that the problem is assessed from a systemic point of view. This means that we look at how the problem affects each family member individually as well as how the relationships between each family member are being affected. Family counseling separates the problem from the person enabling you to work as a team, supporting one another, to triumph over your struggles and strengthen your relationship.
